Nestled in the heart of Orakei Bay Village, Beach Club Oyster & Kitchen offers a refreshing escape from the city's hustle. The venue's coastal-inspired design features light timber accents and oceanic hues, creating an inviting atmosphere that seamlessly blends with its marina surroundings.

About five years ago, the team at Beach Club transformed a former warehouse into a coastal retreat, complete with ocean-blue walls, natural oak furnishings and deck chairs perfect for lounging with a cocktail in hand.

From the moment you walk in, natural light pours in and everything feels relaxed. This is a place where you sit back, clink glasses and forget you arein the city.
Beach Club’s menu is a blend of New Zealand seafood and fusion-inspired dishes. Start with their iconic freshly shucked oysters, available au naturel, grilled or battered.

Now until mid-May, Beach Club is celebrating their fifth year anniversary, offering $35 a dozen fresh oysters!

The market fish risotto is creamy and packed with flavour - we got to try the salmon one and it was delicious. Especially considering their generous portion and affordable pricing, there are not much establishments that can offer anything close in Auckland.

One of their stand out signatures we wanted to introduce is the Chicken Waffle Tower. This massive stacks of juicy fried chicken and thick waffles, bacon-studded fries, maple syrup on the side makes it over the top but in the best way possible.
It is perfect to share for two (or three), or try it out as a challenge - if you consider yourself a big eater.

Then there is the grilled octopus: charred just right, nestled in a broth of sweet tomato and diced vegetables,. It is light yet rich with seafood flavours.

But if you are keeping things classic, the fish and chips is on the menu. The truffle-dusted golden-crisp batter, fries and tartare takes things up a notch.
Beach Club’s drink menu keeps things approachable but polished. You will find all the hits - from citrusy, refreshing signatures to deep, velvety espresso martinis that hit just right. Presentation is clean and flavour balance is on point.
Their wine list is also good - crisp, food-friendly and perfect for long lunches or sunset drinks.
What makes Beach Club particularly unique:
The fusion flair, creating a menu that is playful but grounded in technique
Its beautiful location tucked away in Orakei Bay Village - the kind of place you would bring someone to impress, without trying to
Food that scales from fresh and light to bold, all plated with intention
A vibe that shifts seamlessly from breezy day drinks to night-time groove
