I like working outside of my house or the office so I visit cafes almost daily. And recently, I was able to pick my current top five cafes where I enjoy visiting - a note though, this list is not in a particular order.
1. Benedict's
Since they opened in mid/late 2020, Benedict's easily became one of my favourite cafes in Auckland. They have a beautiful, spacious interior and offer many stunning dishes - to see more details about them, visit my other article here.
2. Leafe Cafe
Located in Westfield Newmarket, Leafe is one of the two cafes in the mall that does good coffee in my opinion - the other being Red Rabbit. Leafe's cool, spacious interior is a great place to host a meeting or to catch up with friends... Or get some work done over great coffee made with Atomic coffee beans.
3. Sno
This Scandi-inspired cafe is one of Aucklander's favourite cafes. The simple yet elegant interior with a wide range of stunning dishes has people visiting all the time, especially at the weekend - the place can get very packed.
4. Lieutenant
One of my most-visited cafes in Auckland, Lieutenant can be found in Commercial Bay. They do great coffee and offer delicious dishes. During the weekdays, Little Lieutenant inside the Jarden House is open, which is my favourite spot in the entire Commercial Bay because I love working in that area. Sitting on the green velvety seat at the wide, spacious interior feels good.
5. Slowlane
I recently discovered this place and really loved the interior - there are a lot of seats inside and outside. They do good coffee and the food is great as well. Despite not offering WiFi (at the time of writing this), it is a great place to host meetings or catch-ups.
